Affectionately dubbed “Bee Boi” by Denver bass player/band leader Vernon Barbary (Pockit, Warren Hill), Bee Boisseau embarked upon his solo artist journey in 2010 while living in Denver, CO. In the Summer of 2011, his debut solo release entitled “Out Front” served to announce that this capable sideman was more than capable of holding his own. Following the project’s release, Bee Boisseau took his music from the studio to the stage, entertaining audiences at the Copper Mountain Jazz & Wine Festival (Copper Mt., CO), The Canal Club (Richmond, VA), as well as many other venues throughout the Eastern and Midwestern regions of the United States. Bee Boi is joined on stage by some of his musical friends & family to form “The Bee Boisseau Project“. After returning to his native Richmond, VA in 2012, “Off The Porch“, the sophomore project from Bee Boisseau, treated listeners to more of Bee Boi’s familiar combinations of urban rhythms & smooth melodies. This project’s reception would see Bee Boisseau hoisted atop the Reverbnation Jazz Charts for the Central Virginia area for a period of three months.
