1. All your key gear visible in one storage zone
To ensure you can carry all your gear and get to it ASAP, we put in lots of thought to the best lug for musicians. That’s why the large main compartment can be opened right out so you can see all your gear through mesh pockets meaning you never have to search pockets by stage lights again.
We designed these pockets specifically for musicians gear. Larger pockets accommodate most larger pedals, pre amps, microphones and D.I.s. Smaller pockets fit smaller pedals, CD’s and random gear. With mesh on the front of all pockets you can find what you are looking for at a glance. No more rustling through pockets in the dark looking for your spare strings while the frontman fills in dead air. This is the Musicians Gear Bag.
2. Lead management system so you never have to untangle leads again
It doesn’t seem to matter how neatly you put your leads away they still require untangling when you unpack. With the Lugville lead management system you can strap each lead in so it will be where and how you left it when you go to grab it.
3. Padded section for laptop
Your laptop seems to come with you everywhere these days, and if it does its important to have a secure storage area for it. The Lugville case comes with a padded section in the rear pocket to protect what is often one of our most important accessories. If you don’t carry a laptop this area is useful for other items such as books or fragile gear.
4. Section for Sheet music
Respect your sheet music and set lists and they will respect you back. Turning up to a gig with crumpled illegible sheet music or set list can be disastrous. A designated pocket keeps this stuff safe and usable.
5. Accessible stash pockets for vitals such as keys, phone and wallet
When you are playing or in transit you need somewhere to store your phone and wallet and there are designated stash pockets inside the rear pocket. Also useful for storing pens, sharpies, business cards, notebooks etc.
6. Robust durable exterior
Carting gear to gigs and rehearsals can be rough and ready. The tough waxed cotton exterior and robust zips mean this bag never lets you down.
7. Wide webbing strap. Extremely strong, hardwearing and flexible
The more gear you carry, the more you need a wide strap to distribute its weight – and the more you’ll appreciate the Lugville soft but strong wide webbing. Combine this with the fixed shoulder pad and your back and shoulder will thank you forever.
8. Dual front release buckle for cargo compression

This bag is really great, picked one up a week ago – working a treat. The biggest pro is the construction (cornering, padding and overall finish leaves gator etc in the dust) – if nothing else it’s a superb laptop bag. Also the lead management system which if you pack right is super neat n tidy. I use this for FOH mixing gigs, but would recommend for bass players, acoustic duos, mandolin/fiddle/banjo players, guitar techs and anyone who can get away without a pedal board! Brilliant..

It the best constructed of the road bags and the zippers are particularly robust. I like it a lot. The only addition I would make is a dedicated pocket for mics. Nice work Lugville!

Lugville is a great concept. I use it to carry guitar leads, microphone cables, power cords, plug boards, iPad, microphones, guitar strings, string winders, guitar strings, guitar picks, guitar stand, etc etc. It replaced other unwieldy methods of transporting gear. Agree with Doc White on dedicated pocket for mics being a good idea. I think I will get another one to use as convenient carry on luggage.

Absolutely the greatest bag for the traveling DJ/KJ, and I’ve owned dozens. *Strongly* recommended for karaoke hosts or other performers who need to bring a ton of fiddly little AV convertors, transmitters, and plugs. Roomy, well-padded laptop area PLUS another letter-sized section for manuals, promo materials, masks, covers, etc., all separate from the main gear section. Plus it’s sturdy and water-repellent. Can’t recommend it enough.
