Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia’s south side, H. “Bee” Boisseau, III is a man of faith, music, creativity, & ambition. He expanded upon his gospel music upbringing and jazz influences while studying at Norfolk State University (Norfolk, Virginia). While in the area, Bee began playing with local favorite, The Fuzz Band, who has shared the stage with the likes of Lauren Hill, Jill Scott, & Faith Evans. Since being brought onto the smooth jazz music scene in 2006 by bass player Vernon Barbary (Pockit, Warren Hill) as one of the premier side men in the genre, “Bee Boi”, as he would come to be known, stepped “Out Front” with his debut solo release by that title. The project’s lead single, “It’s A Habit”, which featured saxophonist Tony Exum, Jr., with it’s subtle progression & infectious melody, proclaimed Bee Boi’s arrival in the smooth genre as one of its rising stars. In total, Bee has released two holiday projects (Merry Mile Christmas [2010], Cap City Christmas), three solo smooth jazz projects (Out FrontOff The Porch, Bee U.)  as well as several hip-hop projects & collaborations using the artistic pseudonym, “MrBawsaw“.

Bee is the owner & general manager of MrBawsaw Music & Media Group, L.L.C., a company which provides web & graphic design, website hosting, promotional media printing, song writing, music production, instruction & consultation. MrBawsaw MMG is the parent company to WNDR Internet Radio Network.

Bee is currently keyboard player & producer for The CrossRhodes Band which features singer-songwriters Raheem Davaughn & Wes Felton.  Bee also sits on the planning board for NuDay Young Men Summer Leadership Academy in Virginia.
